Do TOMS take time to break in?

Your TOMS® Shoes will most likely stretch slightly with use. They should fit snugly out of the box with your toes touching the end. After a few hours of wearing, they will likely stretch slightly to conform to your feet.

How do you break in a pair of TOMS?

Put thick socks on your feet. Blast one of the shoes all over with a hair dryer for around a minute, until it’s warm and soft. Put the shoe on your foot. Repeat with the other shoe. Walk around your house at least until the shoes have cooled – the longer you can keep them on the better.

Do TOMS stretch after wearing?

They do run true to size. But since they stretch after a few good wears, I would go a 1/2 size smaller. They definitely stretch! I am normally a 7.5, which is what I got in the crochet and glitter toms I have, and both stretched to the point where the back slips off my foot.

Do TOMS loosen up?

The advice is to buy small as they do stretch. Mine have stretched. I actually thought I couldn’t wear Toms as I have wide feet and every time I tried them in the shop I couldn’t get them on.
