Who invented Roadies?
The show was created by Raghu Ram, Rajiv Lakshman and RJ Amit. They left the show in 2014. They told the media that they had done enough to popularise the show and wanted to give opportunities to the new generation to carry the show forward. With a 17-year history, it is one of India’s longest running reality shows.
Why did Raghu quit Roadies?
Like I did radio for 10 years, Raghu did Roadies for so many years. Sometimes things run their course, and people are also in different places in their lives. He must’ve felt like he wanted to do something else, maybe the channel wanted something else.

No the whole show is totally scripted. Not even roadies but all the reality shows are scripted.. For your information Every year in emmy awards there is a category for best reality show. And in last year emmy awards Seth mayers also said that ” we all know all reality shows are scripted”.
Why do people join Roadies?
The show is a study in how nature strikes a balance—for every student or youngster wanting to make a difference to the world, there seems to be another 1,000 who simply want to be a Roadie. It’s a life goal which would make the strongest and most loving parent weak in the knee and heart.
