Do you have to pay for a Minecraft server to play with friends?
Servers are free to join and you can find them by using any of the many server-listing sites such as MinecraftServers.org (just search “Minecraft Servers” in your web browser to find more listing sites).

Check your email to verify and finish finish the competition of your account. Then simply click the Create Server button to start the installation of your free server. It might take a few minutes for your server to Install and start up properly.
Can you host a modded Minecraft server for free?
Our free Minecraft server hosting service supports mods and plugins. You can install several Minecraft servers at the same time for one server. You can also change the server’s .jar file to your own. We don’t limit slots.
