How long do halo braids last?

Halo braids are probably one of the simplest styles. They usually last up to 6 weeks. Being completely inexpensive, you could keep getting them all throughout the summer for low maintenance on a budget.

How long does your hair have to be for a halo braid?

One thing that we really like about the halo braid hairstyle is that it can be done on nearly any length of hair. There are exceptions, but unless you have a short tapered TWA, then most ladies can easily supplement their natural hair with extensions.

We do not recommend sleeping with your Luxy Hair Halo® extensions in, as this can be quite uncomfortable, and may cause tangles within your extensions and your own hair. Since they only take a few minutes to apply, and seconds to remove, please do this daily to maintain the integrity of the hair.

How much hair do you need for a halo braid?

It can be dry or slightly damp. Take a small section of hair from the right side of the parting. Gather a small section of hair from along your forehead, starting from the parting. This first section of hair needs to be thick enough to divide into 3 strands, so approximately 2 cm (0.79 in) thick will work well.
