Colton: I didn’t know what I had. I know that medical pulled me for appendicitis. Now it turns out it was a misdiagnosis and I had a bacterial infection, but still. I had to be treated at the hospital, so it really wouldn’t have made a difference if they would have known what was really going on.

What Is Colton Cumbie doing now?

Colton Cumbie He was eventually evacuated owing to acute appendicitis and quit Blood vs. Water in a huff after not getting his way. Cumbie is living a relatively quiet post-Survivor life and generally stays out of the spotlight.

He is now a survivor and enjoying every day. Colton developed facial palsy that was originally diagnosed as Bell’s palsy and we were told it would go away on its own but about a month and a half later he started crying out in pain with his ear hurting.

What does Jeff Probst think of Colton?

I don’t know Colton outside of this game so maybe he leads a very happy, loving, balanced life back home. I hope he does. I have formed my opinion only from the handful of days he has played Survivor and based on that — my opinion is that he’s led a pretty sheltered and soft life.
