What happened to Damien Echols father?

Over the 18 years that followed, Echols saw his mother a handful of times, his sister twice. His adopted father died while he was in prison. He also met the woman who was to become his wife – Lorri Davis, who wrote to him after seeing a documentary about the murders.

Are Damien Echols and Lorri Davis still together?

Echols and his friends were not released from prison until 2011, after entering an Alford plea. An Alford plea allows someone to maintain their innocence, but acknowledges the prosecution has enough evidence to convict them. All were credited for time served. Davis and Echols now live together in Harlem.
