Following the death of their daughter Marjorie at the age of 44, Eddie’s and Ida’s health declined rapidly. Ida died on August 9, 1962, at age 70 of “cardiac insufficiency”, and Eddie died on October 10, 1964, in Beverly Hills, California after suffering his second heart attack at age 72.
