Why can’t I connect to Fortnite right now?
If you are having connection issues, please check the Epic Games Server Status page to make sure all systems are operational. If the issue you’re experiencing is related to an outage or system-wide issue, you won’t be able to connect to the Epic Games Launcher until the outage or issue is resolved.
Can I transfer my Fortnite account to Xbox?
Yes. As long as you’ve linked your Xbox, PlayStation, PC, Switch or Mobile account to your Epic Games account, any content you purchased (except V-Bucks) and progress you make is accessible across all platforms. Note: Each console/platform must be linked to the same Epic Games account.

Why did Epic delete merging?
The Epic rule book does not allow selling and purchasing of accounts or using an account under a different identity. As soon as word went out about such activities, bans were issued, and as the ultimate step, Account Merging was removed.

Before you ask, just know it is not possible to send V-Bucks on your account to another player on another account. Epic Games prevents this because it would just lead to some kind 3rd party V-Bucks reseller or to esports betting.
How do I link my old Fortnite account to a new one?
Click on Sign-in in the top right corner and sign into your Epic Games account. Hover over your display name and click Account. Click on Connect for the account that you want to link to your Epic account. Click on Link Account.
