How height is related to weight?

Body mass index (BMI, weight (kg)/height (m)(2)) is the most widely used weight-height index worldwide. This universal use of BMI assumes that the rationale for its use is universally applicable. We examine two possible rationales for using BMI as a universal measure.

Why do tall people weigh more?

Meaning the taller you are, obviously the more you weigh in comparison to your tiny friends! Due to generally having bigger organs, and bigger bones than shorter individuals, tall people tend to have a greater lean mass.
