You can perform the initial server setup in a matter of minutes, using some set standards, set up a DNS zone and point your domain appropriately, install the software stack, and create a virtual host.
How do I create a Valheim server for friends?
- Select the world you’ve created that you’d like people to join you in.
- At the bottom right, select Start Server then Community Server.
- Create a password for your server.
- Then hit Start.
Can you host your own element server?
If you’re an Element user and you’re self-hosting, or using a typical free public server (such as Matrix.org), you can simply copy your existing account over to Element Home. Currently, you can only do this in the Element web app (we’re working on an equally simple upgrade from within Android and iOS).
