Can I host a modded Minecraft server?
Yes you can! You can install Forge directly onto your server at ServerMiner and then upload your mods into the “mods” folder on your server. We made this super easy by using the control panel’s in-built File Manager.
How do I host a Minecraft server with mods?
To the left of the game panel, click on FTP File Access and go into the mods folder. Click on “Upload” then simply drag in the mods you have previously downloaded. Wait for the mods to fully upload before leaving this page. Once they are uploaded, head back to the Game Panel and start the server.
Is 2GB RAM enough for modded Minecraft server?
2GB – A fantastic plan if you are also planning to add some base plugins or mods and increase your player base on your server. 3GB – Use this plan if you are planning to install medium-sized modpacks or plugin packs. This is suggested for up to 25 mods or plugins. 4GB – This plan includes most modpacks.
