Is 3CX cloud based? 3CX offers a cloud communications solution that gives you complete freedom of choice as to where to host your cloud PBX system, allowing you to always be in complete control of your data. You can choose to host with 3CX or in your own cloud with your choice of Cloud Provider.
Where can I host 3CX?
You can choose to have 3CX host it for you in a shared or dedicated instance, you can self-host via one of many providers that offer a Linux VPS or you can get 3CX from a managed hosted PBX provider.
How do I put 3CX on cloud?
- Login to the customer portal.
- Go to “Systems” find the subscription you want to have hosted and select “Install”
- Select “3CX – Self Managed > Self-hosted with your cloud provider” and click “Next”
- Click “Yes” to upload your existing 3CX configuration backup and click “Next”
Is 3CX hosted free?
3CX will host the system for free for 12 months from the first activation date. The instance will be parked unless there is a minimum of 5 chats or calls per week. This is because unused instances consume water and electricity, causing an unnecessary burden on the environment.
