Google, Apple and Amazon have suspended the social networking app Parler. Amazon defended its decision to drop Parler from its web hosting service in response to a lawsuit filed by the social media app earlier this week.

Parler will be deplatformed from AWS at 11:59 pm Pacific time on Sunday for what Amazon told it was repeated examples of violent rhetoric and incitement. Amazon told Parler that it flagged 98 examples of this type of content and that it will no longer host Parler’s website.

Parler’s new host is SkySilk Cloud Services, a web infrastructure company based in Los Angeles who said of their hosting of Parler that “Skysilk does not advocate nor condone hate, rather, it advocates the right to private judgment and rejects the role of being the judge, jury, and executioner.”
