In Avengers: Endgame (2019), five years after surviving Thanos’ attack on the Statesman and the Blip off-screen during the events of the film Avengers: Infinity War, Miek has settled on Earth in New Asgard, Norway alongside Korg and Thor.

That being said, Thor: Love and Thunder’s ending sees Korg in a relationship with a fellow Kronan (named Dwayne) who also make a child together by standing in a river of lava. As a result, it certainly seems as though the Korg having two fathers is the origin the MCU is going with moving forward.

For a terrifying moment, it actually does look like Korg dies in Thor: Love and Thunder. The beloved character is wounded by Zeus, the God of Lightning, after his body is pierced by the Thunderbolt, which slowly dislodged all of the rocks that held him together.
