Why is Sauron Ring so powerful? Sauron made The One Ring to help him exercise power over all other people who wore Rings of Power. He made it so powerful by imbuing a part of his soul into the ring. This decision resulted in the ring being a conduit that made Sauron even stronger than before. The ring grants invisibility and immortality to its owner.

Why did Frodo not destroy the Ring?
