Is the movie Fahrenheit 451 good?
Critic Reviews for Fahrenheit 451
It feels both divorced from and intrinsically tied to its source material, the 1953 dystopian novel by Ray Bradbury. The film isn’t much of a read, though. For all its anger and barefaced rage, this Fahrenheit 451 is a ravishing experience to watch.
Is Fahrenheit 451 movie OK for kids?
Some scenes has brutal fighting, but no gore. Farenheit 451 has many tense moments, making this film not a good choice for sensitive viewers. But in conclusion, this film adapted the book in a new original and still effective way. If you have younger kids, the 1966 version is a better choice.
Is Fahrenheit 451 movie the same as the book?
The biggest differences between the new film and the book appear to be with characters. For starters, Montag’s lazy and mundane-brained wife Mildred is nowhere to be found in the movie. And Clarisse, who is depicted as a curious teen in the book, is a grown up (played by Sofia Boutella) eel, or illegal citizen.
