How do I use SumUp?
Press the power button. Select your language from the drop-down menu. Log into your SumUp profile. Connect Solo to WiFi (it can also be used with cellular data, as it comes with a SIM card). Update Solo by tapping “Download & Install”. Start accepting payments.
How much does SumUp cost per month?
There are no ongoing or monthly fees with SumUp – it’s simply a case of paying a flat rate of 1.69% per transaction. Refunds are free as long as they are processed prior to the transaction being paid into your bank account, otherwise the original 1.69% card fee will be charged.
How do you SumUp a payment?
On the SumUp app, open the “Checkout” screen. Enter the transaction amount (minimum £1.00) or choose an item from your item catalogue. Tap “Charge” and select “Card Reader”.
Can I use SumUp without a reader?
SumUp’s Tap on Phone feature allows you to receive contactless payment directly via your phone with no need for a card reader. All you need to get started is a SumUp profile and the SumUp App installed on your Android mobile device.
Does SumUp pay into bank account?
By default, payouts, minus our transaction fee, are sent to your bank account. But you can change your payout settings to your SumUp Business Account instead to enable next-day payouts. You can also set how often you’re paid. Accepted transactions can take 1-3 days to process.
How long does it take to get paid from SumUp?
Depending on your bank’s settlement procedures it may take up to 2-3 business days from the transaction date to the day the funds appear on your bank account.
