Season 4. In Season 4, Mahone’s son is murdered in front of his mother by Wyatt. Mahone is arrested when he arrives at the crime scene. He joins the gang in bringing down the Company in exchange for his freedom, which also helps him look for Wyatt to exact revenge on him for murdering his son Cameron.
