Why is my asp top coat sticky?
The sticky residue occurs in the upper layer due to exposure to oxygen. Oxygen does not let the upper layer cure properly. Since we have a high percentage of oxygen in the air, so we can’t avoid oxygen exposure to the upper layer. But once you apply another coat, the previous coat will get properly cured.
How do you make ASP top coat not sticky?
1. Isopropyl Alcohol. The most common, budget-friendly, and effective way to remove the sticky or tacky layer on top of your gel top coat is to use Isopropyl alcohol. The alcohol will dissolve the sticky layer (which is uncured gel polish) making it easy to wipe away.
Does asp gel polish need to be wiped?
Be sure to use one wipe per nail (do not reuse the wipe on the other nails) so that you properly remove all sticky layers. Some oils will be left behind on the nails. A clean cotton wipe quickly removes the oil from all of the nails revealing a high gloss shine that lasts until the Gel Polish is removed.
