A lot of people write about the different types of discord chat logs, but it’s actually hard to tell what’s going on in discord chats. I’ve found that when I look at some of the logs and try to figure out what people are talking about, they just get so confused. It’s like that game of “I Spy” where you try to figure out what someone is saying.

If you want to learn how to view discord chat logs, here are five steps:
1. Set up a new user account with a username – use your real name, not a nickname (You can still use a nickname if you want).
2. Type your own username into the search bar at the top right corner of your screen and type in “discord” (without quotes). Click “Search for users matching my username.” You should see a list of all user accounts that have been created using your own username (ex: Yimant or Emile).
3. Scroll down the list and look at all the messages and dialogues that were sent by each user during their Discord account creation process. These dialogues will most likely be in this order: user name – message – message body – password reset prompt – password reset – login screen – logout screen
4. For each dialogue, scroll down until you find another dialogue very similar to it: … – prompt for password – ask for confirmation … – prompt for confirmation … – prompt for confirmation …… etc…
5. Keep scrolling down until you find another dialogue very similar to it: … – prompt for password – ask for confirmation … – keep asking you …… etc…
The purpose is not really to understand what an individual said in the conversation, but rather to construct a better understanding of what happened during that conversation based on all these other seemingly unrelated dialogues in which we have no clear idea why one person said one thing and another person said something completely different but with similar keywords (such as something like “I think we should burn our house down!”)

Discord is a chat client that was created by two friends, Justin and Jonathan. The app was first released on the iOS App Store on March 27, 2015 by the team of Justin and Jonathan. It has since been downloaded over 350,000 times and the developer has over 14 million users on Discord.

There are thousands of different servers to choose from, each one with its own unique rules which will determine who can join a server and what they can do there. Examples include: “No sex”, “No cursing”, “No nudity” (or anything remotely similar) etc.
Other rules that you may want to know about include: what are the minimum age restrictions for joining? What is the maximum number of users per server?
